Believe it or not, I was raised on a farm in NJ taking care of over 20 horses. From that upbringing, I learned many lessons that are still very much a part of me today. The value of hard work, ethics, showing up on time, doing what you say you are going to do, attention to detail, the power of please and thank you and the notion that you always leave something better than you found it are ingrained in everything I do.
I am fascinated with classic silhouettes and beautifully crafted pieces and love to combine classic styling with more modern clean lines. I have always been inspired by the designs of the 1950s, which were modern, clean, comfortable, interesting and timeless. These traits can be seen in all my designs.
When I started my own firm, I spent years approaching design like others in my field with a focus on selling products. Eventually I discovered my clients were really interested in my ideas without the worry of being overcharged for furniture. I realized the true value I offered was in the creative designs and solutions I provided during what can be a stressful and overwhelming time, the renovation process. Now I provide a consultative approach to all my projects breaking down my services in phases: Ideas, Purchases and Implementation. This allows my clients the ability to work with me in a way that works for them!
